Day 01:

○ When you are ready, you will be escorted to Rabat (about 1 hour).

Rabat, the current political capital of Morocco, and neighboring Salé were once notorious as havens to the feared Barbary pirates, who terrorized Atlantic and Mediterranean trade, capturing prisoners to hold them for ransom.

○ Check in at Tour Hassan Palace.
Rest and refresh at your hotel.
When you are ready you will have lunch at Lmrissa Restaurant.

○ As time allows, you may wish to explore Rabat this afternoon.
Visit the picturesque, labyrinthine Kasbah des Oudaias overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the lovely gardens outside  the Kasbah.

○ Further on to the ancient necropolis of Chellah. A thriving city for nearly 1,000 years, Chellah’s ruins date from the Roman through the Islamic periods and are a special favorite of bird-watchers

○ End your day, as the sun sets over the Atlantic, at the majestic Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. It was Mohamed V who brought independence to Morocco in 1956. Revered by both Muslims and Jews alike, his bravery in the face of the occupying Vichy regime during WWII saved Moroccan Jews
from the fate of their European brethren. His son, Hassan II, who ruled Morocco for 38 years, was buried here in 1999.

○ Visit the vineyard of Chateau Roslane with its nearly 2000 hectares, the only wine château in the Moroccan landscape. This magical estate is worth the detour. Combining tradition and modernity, this heritage of the great, late Brahim Zniber, is a real cathedral dedicated to wine. Time for Wine Tasting and lunch after visiting the Château Roslane. They say that once at this idyllic place, we realize that Morocco too, produces very high quality wines.
