Chobe & Okavango Delta

Day 1 – Arrival Chobe
On arrival at Kasane Airport guests will be met and transferred to the lodge. On arrival guests will complete check in formalities at the lodge. Guests will depart on an afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River and will enjoy dinner at the lodge.

Chobe Safari Lodge: On Botswana’s far northern border lies the Kwando, Linyanti and Chobe river system forming a series of lakes, islands and floodplains. In addition to a variety of predators, there is an abundance of wild game and bird life which decorate these beautiful waterways. The lodge has recently done renovations to the lodge and now boast a great new dining, swimming pool and bar area.

Day 2 – Chobe
Guests will enjoy a morning game drive in the park. Guests will enjoy breakfast/brunch back at the lodge. Guests will enjoy a private boat cruise in the afternoon and will enjoy dinner at the lodge.

With the meandering Chobe river on it border, the Chobe National Park has some of the finest game viewing in Africa and one of the biggest concentrations of elephants in Africa. It is also notable for huge herds of buffalo and zebras, lechwe, Chobe bushbuck and puku antelope can also be seen. Where there are buffalo, lions are never far away and there is a good chance of seeing large prides who laze around in the shade all day and only yawn themselves awake at dusk.

Day 3 – Chobe
Guests will enjoy breakfast at the lodge. Guests will depart on an afternoon game drive looking for the Big 5 and will enjoy dinner at the lodge.

Value Add: Guests will enjoy a 2 hour Village Walk in Namibia.

Day 4 – Chobe to Okavango Delta
Guests will enjoy breakfast at the lodge. After completing check out formalities guests will be met and transferred to Kasane Airport.

The Okavango is an immense river that never meets the sea. Instead, its crystal clear waters spread across the Kalahari Desert, forming Africa’s largest wetland wonder. Its waterways are a mesh of meandering and intercepting channels, creating a haven for Africa’s most celebrated wildlife. On arrival guests will be transferred to the lodge and complete check in formalities.

Pom Pom Camp: The Camp is located on Pom Pom Island in a private concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta and on the head waters of the Xudum river system. The area lies on the western boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and offers superb Okavango scenery and a true Okavango wilderness experience.

Accommodations consist of nine luxury safari tents in true traditional safari style, all with full en-suite semi open ablution facilities. The tents are uniquely positioned under the shade of the surrounding trees with overlooking views of the Pom Pom lagoon. Morning and evening game drives in the company of our qualified guides will give you the opportunity to view all the big game and night life of this environment. Guests will enjoy dinner at the lodge.

Day 5 – Okavango Delta
Guests will enjoy a morning mokoro excursion with the lodge.

A Mokoro trip is a fantastic way to experience the wonders of the Okavango Delta. In the company of a professional poler with vast experience of the Delta, you will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of this unique habitat and learn about the waterways and wildlife. Guests will depart on another afternoon game activity in the reserve and will enjoy dinner at the lodge.

Day 6 – Depart
Guests will enjoy a morning excursion with the lodge. (dependant on flight arrival time) On arrival at Maun Airport guests will board the onward flight (flight costs not included)
