Lark Hat Box Patent Leather Black Case 1950’s Holland America Lines Ryndam Tag

This vintage, round patent leather hat luggage case is from the 1950's. ‘It’s a Lark’ by Droutman Mfg of New York. One loop handle. The case unzips to reveal a plaid lining of red, purple, yellow and white colors with one pocket. Interior is in good condition. There is a lock on the case, but there is not a key. The original label ‘It’s a Lark’ is unattached and the text is worn but included with the case. The bonus is that the case has two luggage labels, one overlapping another. The one shown is for the ship Ryndam of the Holland America Line, Tourist Class, reflecting the Port of Landing to be New York.
