Vintage Red Forecast Luggage Set. These vintage red hardshell plastic Sears Forecast suitcases are in mint condition. The larger case is still in shrink wrap. According to references, Forecast was a Sears brand. There are oval “FORECAST” logos on these particular suitcases. They feature semi-retractable plastic handles with chrome steel handle mounts along with matching chrome steel closures. On the bottom there are four protruding plastic feet that are actually molded into the hardshell plastic case. The design of the feet not only help to provide stability but they also help to strengthen the overall body as they distribute weight much more evenly than single add-on feet. Another feature that points to a much higher quality piece of luggage can be seen in the use of chrome triple hinges to open and shut the suitcase. As can be seen in the photos, there is an elastic hold-down and various organizers inside the case that has been opened. We assume there are similar organizers in the unopened case. There are no breaks, holes, or repairs on these collectible Sears Forecast hardshell plastic suitcases, and the red color will provide a vibrant and fresh look for either functional use or as decorative pieces. The larger hardshell Forecast suitcase measures 19″ tall x 27″ wide x 7″ deep. The medium hardshell Forecast suitcase measures 17″ tall x 24″ wide x 7″ deep.

Overall great used, vintage condition. Includes mirror and make up tray inside. There is a crack in the make up tray doesn’t seem to affect use. Normal minor scuffs scratches etc. Photos show condition well. Vtg Sears forecast Hard shell Suitcase/Luggage

These 3 vintage suitcases have been in my family for years. Just don’t have the keys for them. Missing one pocket that snaps on and another side pocket the zipper is broken but the rest of them work as they should. Suitcases need some cleaning up on the outside but no cracks or breaks.
