Coastal Gnome (https://www.ebay.com/str/coastalgnome) offers for your consideration: A large, vintage (1968 to 1972) charcoal gray / black American Tourister vintage vinyl hardcase rolling suitcase – the “Tourister” – with two wheels and a exterior stowable pull handle. The American Tourister stowable metal handle made this line of bags one of the first commercially viable rolling suitcases in the era of modern air travel and, when combined with the lightweight durability of the molded vinyl body, truly revolutionized the way people travelled. Approximate Measurements: This measures approximately 28 inches long; 21 inches tall (with carrying handle down) and 8.75 inches wide. Conditionis:Very Good, Used. although there is evidence of use (name stickers on the outside and a few scuff marks), this is in very good condition. The hinges have a bit of surface rust on them and one plastic leg (the top one in the 9th photo) is loose. The lining is in great condition with no rips, tears, stains or other issues of note. The latches are fully operational and still open and close. NOTE: WE DO NOT HAVE A KEY, nor do we know the combination, so we did not test either the key locks or combination lock.
